A big congratulations to multi award winning Platinum PADI Course Director Holly Macleod for all of her achievements in the Gili Islands in 2015. As well as the multiple awards already received such as “The Platinum Course Director” Award, the “Commitment to Instructor Development” Award and the “PADI Career Development Center” Status Award our PADI Course Director has also received the “PADI Elite 300 Instructor” Award.
What does this mean in the Gili Islands for the PADI IDC Indonesia?
The PADI Elite Instructor award program was introduced in
2014 to recognize the most active Instructors working within the dive industry
today. The award is given to PADI Instructors and above based on the amount of
divers you certify within a year. Our Platinum PADI Course Director certified
more than 300 Instructor over the course of 2014 and in recognition was awarded
the “Elite 300” award.

The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) is conducted
each and every month at Trawangan Dive; the first ever established PADI 5 Star
IDC Career Development Center (CDC) in the Gili Islands. Today the dive center
remains the only Career Development Center on Gili Trawangan and boasts dedicated
Instructor training facilities including classroom, swimming pool and a
dedicated boat.
As well as working towards getting the best scores possible in the Instructor Examination and preparing for a life and career in the dive industry, students will benefit from the “real life” experience of our Course Director who has worked within the industry for approximately 12 years and travelled around the world teaching the various PADI programs. Candidates can expect to gain first-hand knowledge of the industry and an insight to what it is like working within particular job roles and how their work system, responsibilities or schedule can be different by working within specific regions of the world.

If your looking to find out more about the program than our Original PADI IDC Indonesia Facebook
Page offers all the information about what has been going on during each course
for the past few years including photos, updates etc.; and it is a great way to
see how past candidates got on and where they are now. Another great way to
check out the course is to watch the promotionalPADI IDC Indonesia video, which can also be found on our YouTube channel.
If you wish to go further and find out more about start
dates, schedules, costs etc, or to discuss your current level of training and
future aspirations our Course Director Holly can be contacted directly on
